What Our Long Distance Removals Include
As standard, you get:

Moving to the other end of the country takes more planning than moving across town, and our long distance removals are built around that. The crew spends hours on the road, both addresses have to be ready on the same day, and a forgotten box cannot be collected on a quick second trip. We move homes and businesses from the Midlands to anywhere in England, Wales and Scotland.
This page covers what is included, how a move works from first call to the last box, what we need from you, and how the price is worked out. For timings, packing and loading advice, read our long distance moving planning guide.

Send us both postcodes, your property size, your preferred date and anything awkward about access at either end. Our phone lines are open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
Where the move is large or complex, a video survey comes next. It shows us the volume, the access and any specialist items. You then receive your itemised quote.

Once you accept the quote, a deposit secures your date. You get the insurance details in writing before paying it.
We then plan the journey and allocate the crew and vehicle. Your arrival window is confirmed the day before the move, so you are not left waiting all day.

The crew loads at your current address, drives the planned route and unloads at the new property. Any extras you booked, such as reassembly or unpacking, happen at the other end.
The remaining balance is paid before or on moving day, and your quote shows the exact schedule. Check your belongings on arrival, so any problem can be raised with us straight away.
Book four to six weeks ahead where you can. Our long distance moving planning guide has a fuller timeline, plus packing advice for long journeys.
Two policies sit behind every job: Goods in Transit and Public Liability. Goods in Transit protects your belongings from the moment they are lifted onto the van until they are set down at the new address. Public Liability protects the homes or premises at either end if they are damaged during the move.
Your belongings spend longer on the van over a long distance, so it is worth knowing where the cover starts and stops:
Report any claim within a reasonable time after completion. The full wording is in our terms and conditions.
From our base in Northamptonshire, we carry out long distance removals across the UK. Moves can start anywhere in the Midlands and finish wherever you are heading, from the south coast to the Scottish Highlands.
If you are moving locally instead, see the towns and cities we cover. For a move abroad, our overseas removals service covers air and sea freight.
We recommend booking at least four to six weeks ahead. Fridays and the end of the month fill up first, so allow longer if your date falls on one of those.
Yes. We cover moves from the Midlands to anywhere in England, Wales and Scotland. The route, the crew and the vehicle size are all planned around your destination.
Smaller local jobs often suit an hourly rate. Larger moves are usually quoted as a fixed price based on volume, distance, access at both ends and any extras. No deposit is asked for until you have the price in writing.
Yes, if your move is large or has tricky access. It lets us judge the volume, check access and spot anything that needs specialist handling, so the fixed price is accurate from the start.
Contact us as soon as you know. We will do everything we can to move your booking to the new date. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how much notice you give, as set out in our terms.
Damage that existed before the move is not covered, and neither are the contents of boxes you packed yourself. Mechanical and electrical faults are excluded unless our handling caused them. Our liability covers damage caused by our negligence, up to the terms of our policy.
Yes. Commercial customers can book evenings, weekends or overnight as standard. That keeps downtime low while the business relocates to another part of the country.
