A few things sit outside a standard booking and are priced separately so you are not paying for services you do not need. These include packing and unpacking, packing materials bought on their own, furniture dismantling and reassembly, and end of tenancy cleaning. Each is listed with a price further down this page.
We do not transport hazardous goods such as gas bottles, fuel, paint, fireworks or aerosols in bulk. Plants, pets, and valuables like jewellery, cash, passports and medication are best carried in your own car. Tell us at quote stage if you have a safe, piano, pool table, large aquarium or gym equipment, because those need specific planning.

A stairs-only third floor flat and a driveway bungalow are very different jobs, and the more we know now, the more accurate the price.
For most flats and smaller houses we can price from the details you give us. For larger homes, and for anything we list as Price On Survey, we carry out a video survey.
You walk us round on your phone for fifteen minutes and we see the volume, the access and the items that need special handling.
Once you accept, we book the date and confirm your arrival window. This is the point to sort parking at both addresses.
If your street needs a permit or a suspended bay, the council usually needs several working days notice, so tell us early and we will advise what is required.
The team arrives within the agreed window, walks the property with you, and agrees the loading order.
Furniture is blanket wrapped before it leaves the room, not in the van. Boxes are loaded by room so unloading follows the same logic.

Four to six weeks is comfortable, and longer if you are moving on a Friday or at the end of the month, which are the busiest slots. We can often take short notice bookings, so it is worth calling even if your date is close.
A two bedroom house is usually four to six hours on a local move. A three or four bedroom house is generally a full day. Stairs, long carries and distance between addresses are what extend it.
Yes. Beds, wardrobes, tables and flat-pack units can be dismantled at the old property and reassembled at the new one, from £40. Tell us what needs doing when you request your quote so the crew arrives with the right time allowed.
It reduces the invoice, but self-packed boxes are usually excluded from insurance cover for their contents. For fragile or high value items, professional packing is normally the better decision.
Same day completions frequently release keys in the early afternoon, so we plan the day around that rather than treating it as a problem. If a delay runs long enough to affect the booking, we will talk you through the options at the time.
